[He laughed at the hair ruffle, pouring them both some tea while Diluc had gotten the stuff. Diluc was adorable like this, especially that ear twitch. He wasn't sure why the question seemed to surprise him though.]
Sure, but you don't always get the extra bits unless you sleep especially deep. It's adorable.
[But he was glad that Diluc was sleeping better. Kaeya certainly slept better as well, but it also probably helped that he was eating better too. Even if his appetite was still small. He waved off question with a bite of bacon.]
I'm fine, I'm fine. I have the brace and I'll be getting another check up soon.
[Kaeya barely liked going to Barbara back in Teyvat, let alone people in this place.]
[It's surprising only because he does sleep well these days, more often than not. Even when he ends up tangled in a mess of limbs between Kaeya and Chuuya or whoever else might be sharing the bed at that moment he still sleeps comfortably. It's nice, not having the almost nightly bad dreams that he used to.]
Mm, good.
[He can understand. He'd been eager to get out of the hospital when he had been hurt and still bore the scars of not allowing the healers there to use too much magic on him. Purely because he just cannot make himself fully trust their intentions.]
And it is not adorable, it's... annoying. [Huff. He doesn't mind as much as he used to, though, and he knows Kaeya is well aware of it.] I blame you entirely.
[It was nice, suffering from less nightmares. Kaeya was glad given he sometimes wasn't always aware when Diluc suffered. Although the redhead had been better about waking Kaeya up when they happened.]
I accept this blame.
[Kaeya laughed, cutting into the pancakes and dipping the slice into the syrup. He then held out his fork to Diluc, a grin on face.]
[Diluc shoots him a slightly sour look as his ears pin back, but there's no real fire behind it. His true thoughts on the matter as a whole are known between them and if he truly hated it, he would be taking steps to avoid it happening. It's an indication of the strong connection between he and Kaeya, one that had strained over the past year but never once broken, and how can he really mind that?
He eyes the fork held out to him, then leans forwards and takes the offered bite. His eyes lock to Kaeya's as he places his hand against the other man's and slowly draws back, catching every drop of syrup on the fork before he sits up.]
